How can I change the language?

There are a few different parts of Motrain that affect the language display for the Players and the Admins.  

The language displayed on the Motrain dashboard and the Motrain embedded iframe Store is managed by us.  You cannot customize those language strings.  The language in these systems is displayed based on the language setting on the web browser.

Moodle/Totara - Customize the Motrain block

You can customize the strings and the language in the Motrain block by:

A.  Change the code in the block (lang folder)

B.  Use the Language customization on your Moodle/Totara site.  Here's how:

1.  As a Moodle/Totara Site Admin, go to:  Site Administration/Language/Language customization.

2.  Select the language pack you want to customize.

3.  Select Open language pack for editing.  This might take a few minutes to load the language pack.

4.  Beside "Show strings of these components", under block, select block_motrain.php, the click Show strings (as below)

5.  Make any changes you like, or add in the local customization language.  SAVE the changes to the language pack.

In the example above, we changed "Store" to "Shop".  Notice the change in the block (red box).
