One of the key engagement elements of Motrain is the use of levels. There are several learning benefits, such as:
- Clear goals and milestones provide a sense of progress and achievement.
- Learners are motivated to continue learning and working towards the next level.
- Increased learner engagement and motivation.
- Feedback and recognition reinforce learning and increase learner confidence.
- Milestones provide opportunities for learners to reflect on their progress and learning.
- Achievements increase learner motivation to continue learning and striving for greater success.
From a training manager and business perspective, there are many additional benefits, such as:
- Increased learner engagement fosters higher content consumption rates
- Feedback and recognition help improve learner retention
- Filtering players by Levels to customize marketing and nurturing campaigns
Levels thresholds are based on the "Total Coins Earned" by the Player.
On the dashboard, you can view the level of each player.
Setting Levels:
1. Click on the left-side menu "Levels".
2. Default Level "Shields" icons are provided or you can introduce custom Level icons. To do so, here are the image requirements: a transparent background PNG or SVG that will appear on a light background. The recommended height is between 80px and 320px.
3. The default level thresholds have been set for you. These values may not accurately reflect your coin-earning rules/economy, so you may need to consider changing these values.
4. The Players column indicates the number of players that will be placed in each level.
5. There is a maximum of 80 levels.
PRO TIP 1: Notice how the default level thresholds increase. If you edit these values, be sure to make sure each level is progressively harder to reach.
PRO TIP 2: Motrain's API and Webhooks can handle calls and triggers. Consider leveraging these tools in your marketing and customer success strategy. For example, you can send congratulatory messages when a Player reaches a new level.
